PROBIODOG is a potentiated probiotic preparation with boosting, preventive and therapeutic effect. It contains the specially isolated strain Lactobacillus fermentum AD1 from the healthy dog and potentiating substances.

PROBIODOG forms a protective film on the bowel wall and binds to the cells of bowel mucosa and so prevents penetration of undesirable bacteria - pathogens. Through strong colonisation of bowel tract it significantly reduces and prevents growth and multiplication of undesirable bacteria and so enhances the resistance of organism.

PROBIODOG disintegrates heavily digestible components of food such as starch, fibre,  oligosaccharides, proteins. Due to effect of bacteria are formed lactic acid and short chain fatty acids, acetic,  propanoic and butter acids which provide  energy to epithelial cells of the bowel and favourably reduce pH, increase absorption of  Ca, Fe, Mg and positively influence metabolism of glucose and lipids in the liver.

PROBIODOG produces also vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, niacin, folic acid and pantothenic acid. It increases the digestibility of proteins. Lactobacilli due to influence of various chemical substances /e.g. conservation substances in food/, antibiotics and chemotherapeutics disappear from organism and therefore it is necessary to restore them in the bowel system.

Veterinary probiotic preparation for dogs containing the strain lactobacillus fermentum AD1 CCM 7421 specially isolated from healthy dog in combination with  malt dextrin 1% and auxiliary substances  (glucose, whey, dry milk).

Indications

For puppies, lactating and pregnant bitches, adult dogs.  Preventively and curatively at diarrheas.  After administration of antibiotics and chemotherapeutics. Recovering animals, load conditions, transfer, exhibitions. Puppies in critical phases of development /before vaccinations/. Restoration of bowel microflora. Activation, boosting of immune system.

Description

Fine powder of milk white colour.

Way of use

Perorally in feed and drinking water. (In milk for puppies up to 3 months).

Doses

• Puppies: At the age of 4 weeks (two weeks before the first vaccination or from the beginning of additional feeding of puppies).
  At the age of 10 weeks 2g animal/day administer for 14 days.

• Pregnant bitches: 14 days before delivery 3g/animal/day.

• Lactating bitches: 14 days after delivery 3g/animal/day.

• Adult dogs: Preventively, therapeutically 14 days 3g/animal/day.

We recommend administering min. once in 3 months. Adverse effects: not known.

Note

One coffee spoon contains approx. 2-3g of preparation, one tea spoon 5-6g, one table spoon approx. 15g. The preparation is not harmful at overdosing!
